Комедия о приключениях попутчиков, едущих отдыхать на юг. В одном купе поезда «Москва — Южногорск» едут Таня, Костя, Миша и Сан Саныч. Костя дарит Тане билет «Спортлото» и помогает заполнить его. Не верящая в выигрыш Таня отдает билет на хранение Косте, который кладет его в свою книгу. После прибытия на юг пути соседей по купе расходятся. Через несколько дней в газете опубликованы результаты очередного розыгрыша, и выясняется, что номер Тани – выигрышный, приз – крупная сумма денег. Но Костя перепутал экземпляр книги, в которой оставил счастливый билет…
