Where are you now? Its an emotional experience thinking about how far weve come since Faded was first released five years ago. It has been an amazing journey and I am so grateful for every single one of you who has come along for the ride with me, making my job the best thing in the world. Thank you for all of the love and support and most importantly for the special community that all Walkers create together. You are not alone.
It has been an amazing five years, but were just getting started, Walkers. The journey continues… In this trailer, I want to show you some of the stuff I’ve been working on recently, and that I’ll be sharing with you throughout 2021. Hope you’re as excited as I am! One of the special things I’m looking forward to releasing, is a special version I made out of a Hans Zimmer song that’s one of my favorites ever. You can hear a preview of it in the trailer. Walkers! I’m beyond excited to share this video with you. Collaborating with Hans Zimmer on this release has been an out-of-body experience on a whole different level. Everyone who knows me, knows that I’m a huge fan of his work, and it has played a big part of my musical journey. Especially “Time,” which is probably my favorite song ever. Plus it marks the 10th anniversary for Inception this year too. I’m as grateful as I can possibly be for this opportunity!
Making this music video during a world that’s on lockdown, provided some obvious challenges. However, we decided to use that to our advantage, and I really hope you like the result. Let me know what you think in the comment section below!
